What is Pierpass?

Pierpass is a not-for-profit company set up by Los Angeles and Long Beach port to address issues with congestion, security and air quality. Under the program, the company collect a Pierpass traffic mitigation fee of $70.49 for a 20’, $140.98 for a 40’ container or $4 per CBM for less than container load (LCL) shipments.

A pier pass is $4 per Cubic Meter (CBM). If the CBM is between 0 and 1, you will be charged as if you had 1 CBM.
