What is an MSDS Report?

An MSDS report stands for a Material Safety Data Sheet. It’s a technical document that provides comprehensive health and safety information about any dangerous goods contained in a cargo.

The MSDS report includes:

  • The manufacturer’s information (e.g. name, address, phone)
  • Chemical identity and hazardous ingredients
  • Fire and explosion data
  • Health effects of exposure to the product, and 
  • Instructions for the product’s handling or storage.
